Adobe Illustrator is a great tool for designing logos for your business. Most small businesses however don't own or have access to this top end software and usually go to a design company to design their logo for them. However, if you do have Adbe Illustrator, or have a friend who does, then you could try having a go at designing your own logo.
In the video below you can follow along as the narrator demonstrates how to design a 3D logo. It's a fairly simple procedure and the end result looks very professional. Of course in fairness it's more a demonstration of what Adobe Illustrator can do. Not everyone would want to design the same logo for their company, but it might give you some ideas and tips on how to design your own but with a different shape and colours and fonts.
