Im sure we all have goals.
Setting your goals too high, or expecting the near impossible is just a recipe for disappointment though.
I have found that setting small goals that are easily achievable, (if you plan and focus on a clear path to reach them and stay determined) is the best recipe for success. Each smaller goal that you achieve will bring you nearer towards a greater goal if you incorporate them in your overall plan.
For example, this year I plan to build a couple of paid memberships sites as well as taking further steps towards building up my client base.
I have other plans too (which I'll keep under wraps for now) but my overall goal is to build a passive income so that eventually I can be more selective in how to use my spare time.
Painting pictures and travel photography are two of my hobbies which I'm keen to get back too. At the moment though my time is taken up mostly with business.
However, having run a totally different business for over 30 years and building up my web design business in my spare time, I'm now in a position to rely totally on this one business as a regular income. Other income streams also involve online activities, but I also have interests in offline activities as well.
As I mentioned in my previous post, having multiple streams of revenue is the safest way to secure your future in these uncertain times.
At least that's my way of thinking.
