Sometimes when things go quiet a small business often reigns back on the advertising budget to save money, but actually this is the time when you need to keep advertising and keep your business in the public view.
While other competing businesses may cut their advertising budget in lean times, that is when you can take advantage to gain more exposure without too much competition.
One of my clients this week has decided to re-activate some of his websites after suspending them a couple of months back. He may be regretting doing that because when you take your website offline, for whatever reason, it's quickly going to lose it's position in the search results, and in fact, can drop out of the listings altogether.
Never mind, he's back in the game, and hopefully we can get his sites back up to first page positions again.
