Responsive web design is the future

Responsive web design is becoming increasingly more important as more and more people are now using their smartphones to go online. If someone is looking for a service, for example an electrician or plumber, and they visit a website to find out more about their services, its important that the website makes it as easy as possible to help the visitor find the information they are looking for.

On a mobile phone this is not always as easy as it should be. The vast majority of websites are not designed to be 'responsive' and do not automatically resize to the screen size of the mobile device. Or if they do, it's not always easy to read the text without having to resize and move around the page manually.

Responsive websites however have flexible design built in and automatically resize to the smartphone screen in one column that can easily be scrolled, while at the same time keeping text legible.
